The Med MoU Committee approved the election of Adm. Mokhtar Ammar as the Secretary General for the Med. MoU Secretariat starting from February 2008.

 The Arab Republic of Syria officially submitted their acceptance and joining the Med. MOU on 03 September 2007.

 Med MoU on PSC has decided to join the CIC on ISM Code Campaign concurrently with the other PSC regimes which is scheduled to start on 1 September and end on 30 November 2007.

Starting from 07 March 2007 the Med. MoU Information Centre Data Base inspections can be accessed for public.
